And they are silent, that’s all. Then the old man says:
- Come on, old woman, make a fire. The old woman lit a fire. The old man took out two logs from there and started poking them into people’s mouths. They are still silent.
The old woman suggested that her husband put them to bed. And so they did. They put them to bed. The old man says to the old woman:
- Look, don’t get up early, maybe something will happen.
There were no matches before, so the old man says to his wife:
– You leave the flint, flint and tinder near the hearth. Maybe something will happen.
We went to bed. In the morning the old man sees and hears everything. Only he doesn’t show his face. The woman who was brought stood up, and the man said to her:
“We’ve been torturing people for a long time, let’s light a fire for your parents.” She lit a fire and shouted:
- Father and mother! It's time for you to get up, the fire is burning, it's warm in the plague.
The old man stood up with the old woman and their daughter and son. Everyone stood up. The old woman serves meat to the people brought, and they both say:
- That's not what we eat. Find us something else to eat. We don’t eat the kind of meat you give us. Before coming to you, we ate only what grew on the ground.
“Okay,” says the old man, “we will collect food for you that grows on the ground.”
