One day, two young warriors came to the Bird, the Guardian of the Black Stone, with a request to increase their knowledge in the art of war and explain to them how the power that comes from the soul is manifested. The bird listened to the young men and asked one of them, who was many times superior in physical strength to his comrade, to show body strength and lift a huge stone lying nearby. As the warrior struggled to lift the stone, Bird asked him if he could throw his burden far away from him.
“No, I can’t,” he admitted honestly.
“Then put a stone on your comrade’s foot,” asked the Stone Bird.
Before the strong warrior had time to carry out the order of the Guardian of the Black Stone, his friend, unexpectedly screaming, grabbed the block and threw it far away from himself.
“This is the power that comes from the soul,” said the Bird, “and it depends only on the desire of the soul itself.”
