“We reward you for your reasoning about emptiness,” the gods whispered to him.
“But I didn’t talk about emptiness,” said Subhuti.
“You didn’t talk about emptiness, we didn’t hear emptiness,” the gods answered, “that means this is true emptiness.”
And flowers poured down on Subhuti like rain.
