One man was fishing. A monkey was quietly watching him. And she also wanted, following his example, to throw a net into the river.
The day was hot, and the fisherman climbed into a cave to rest in the shade and left his nets on the shore.
Then the monkey came and tried, imitating the fisherman, to cast the net. But not knowing how to handle it, she got confused in it. Trying to free himself, the monkey tightened the loops tighter and tighter and eventually crushed himself with this net.
When the fisherman returned, he said, addressing the dying monkey:
“Your stupidity has ruined you.”
Blind imitation never leads to good.
