The gypsies went to the village to tell fortunes and ask. They scattered to their huts. One gypsy was lucky. Usually women were paid for telling fortunes with bread, lard, and all sorts of provisions, but here - money! Lots of money! The gypsy's eyes lit up, and she decided to hide the loot from her own people. And one gypsy remarked:

- Honey, but you took the money?!

- What are you talking about, I swear by my children, what kind of money? Look, everything that is in the sieve was given.

And there the gypsy woman has only provisions. One way or another, the gypsies did not believe her.

They returned to the camp and told their husbands about this incident. They were alarmed. Have you ever heard of a gypsy woman hiding money from her family? They assembled a gypsy court and called this gypsy woman.

- Well, swear! - they tell her.

She took the firebrand:

“Like this firebrand is blackened, so that my life will turn black if I lie, so that my children will burn on this firebrand.”

The gypsy took the coals into her mouth:

- This is how black this coal is, so that my soul will turn black, so that I will not give birth, so that I will give birth not to children, but to snakes.

The gypsy woman swore, and she still had the money. The time comes for her to give birth. There is no way a gypsy woman can give birth. Nothing helps. She also drank grass. and called the witch - everything was useless. The gypsies say to the witch:

“You’re wasting your time,” she swore a terrible oath, but apparently she deceived her. So trouble came to her.

And so the gypsy died in agony.
