Due until tomorrow

Due until tomorrow

One day one of Mulla's relatives did something to please him very much.

“Since you have done such a good deed,” Nasreddin told him, “then ask me for whatever you want.”

Mulla's relative was so happy that he could not think of anything to ask.

“Give me until tomorrow,” he said.

Mulla agreed. The next day, when he came to ask for what he had promised, Nasreddin told him:

- I promised to give you only one thing. You asked to be given time to think. I gave it. So what else do you want?
