- What should I do? - asked little Nasreddin.
Mulla Nasrudin looked at him intently and said:
- Climb up this ladder.
The boy obeyed, because he believed his father. When he was about three meters from the ground, Nasreddin told him:
“Now jump, I’ll catch you.”
The boy hesitated a little and cautiously remarked:
- If I fall, I'll hurt myself.
“I’m standing here, why should you worry?” - Nasreddin laughed. - Jump!
The boy jumped, and Nasreddin jumped to the side. The boy hit the floor, screamed and burst into tears.
