Once upon a time there lived a man who had a wonderful donkey. The owner loved his donkey very much, although he did not obey him at all. Then the man took the animal to the famous trainer and asked if it was possible to make the animal more obedient.
“Of course,” the trainer answered, “leave him with me for a few days, and when you return, you simply won’t recognize your donkey.”
As he was leaving, the owner turned around to say goodbye to the trainer and saw that he was hitting - not hard - the animal on the head.
- Hey! I asked you to train the donkey, not kill it! - the owner said angrily.
To which the trainer replied:
“Sometimes there’s simply no other way to get their attention.”
