Donkey and horse

Donkey and horse
Enlight

The owner had a donkey and a horse. Their fate was different. The horse stood idle in the stall, it was well fed, its mane was decorated, and it was bathed daily. The donkey was exhausted from backbreaking work, carrying loads from dawn to dusk, but the owner hardly cared about him.

However, times are changing. There was a war, and the owner rode on horseback to fight. The horse died in the battle.

Hearing about this, the donkey said:

“I have always envied horses, but my fate turned out happier.”

The happiness and well-being of other nobles is illusory. In fact, a simple person is sometimes happier than them.
