The dog grabbed a piece of beef from the butcher shop and started running. When she reached the river, she saw her reflection in the water. But it seemed to her that it was another dog with a piece of meat in its teeth. And this piece is larger than the one she stole.
The dog left the meat and rushed in pursuit of its reflection. Meanwhile, a crow flew in and carried away the thrown piece of beef.
Realizing his mistake, the dog returned to the place where he had left the meat, but did not find it. And she thought: “I chased after a big piece, but missed the one I had.”
