Devil and man

Devil and man
Enlight

One day a man and a woman were walking along the road. And we met the devil.

- Good afternoon, man! You and your wife!

The man didn’t like the way the devil greeted him: the woman wasn’t his wife at all!

- Oh, you evil spirit! - he said in response. “Why do you say that?” She is not my wife!

-Who is she to you?

- A relative.

- Which? Who brings it to you?

“But look, devil,” the man answered. “Her mother is my wife’s mother-in-law.” Now figure out for yourself what kind of relationship we have with her!..

The devil sat down on the side of the road and began to count. When he didn’t have enough fingers on his hands, he began to bend them on his feet: he really wanted to find out who that woman was to the man. But no matter how the devil racked his brains, no matter how he twisted and turned, he still didn’t understand anything.

The devil is exhausted and angry. Asks the man:

- Tell me, man, how related you are. I just don't understand!

- No way! Figure it out for yourself. That's why you're the devil!

And to this day the devil is racking his brains and can’t guess who that woman is to the man... What do you think - who?
