At that time, Kashchei was wooing Marena, but Dazhbog was so inflamed with passion that he decided to take the charming woman away from his rival. However, Marena did not intend to become Dazhbog’s wife. She only wanted to marry Kashchei, for he was of a noble family - no joke, the son of Viy and the Mother of the Damp Earth, the grandson of the Black Snake himself. And Tarkh Dazhbog is just the son of a mermaid.
When Tarkh began to pester her too much, she invited him to drink the charmed honey. As soon as Dazhbog drank it, horns branched out on his head - and Dazhbog turned into the Golden-horned Deer. People remember this event in the middle of summer, on the Day of the Honey Savior.

Maren again turned the Golden-Horned Deer into Tarkh Dazh, a god, only after Perun threatened to incinerate her with lightning. Marena could not resist the lover Dazhbog and married him. But after the wedding, Marena was kidnapped from Dazhbog by his offended rival Kashchei. Dazhbog set off in pursuit of the kidnapper, but Marena and Kashchei deceived him every time - they threw him into the Inferno, turned him into Stone, and in the end crucified him on Alatyr Mountain. And because of this, the frosts became more and more severe, and a blizzard swept the ground. Dazhbog was rescued every time by his friends - the horse Kologriv, father Perun, the goddess of spring Zhiva.
And then Dazhbog, in order to defeat Kashchei-Chernobog, obtained the Golden Egg. According to legend, the Death of Kashchei was imprisoned in it. But in this Egg, which appeared during the creation of the World, there was not only the Death of Kashchei, but also the Death of the Universe. After Dazhbog split the Golden Egg, the time has come to free the world from filth, to cleanse it in fire and water. By splitting the Egg, Dozhbog destroyed the integrity of the Universe, for this Egg is the Universe, and is the Rod. It contains both Dazhbog himself and Kashchei. With the death of Kashchei and Mary, Reality triumphed over Navy. But in Prav the balance of Reveal and Navi was disturbed. For without Death there is no Life. To return the World to the path of Rule, to return Death, Rod, the Parent of the Universe, sent fire and water to the Earth.

Hercules, Theseus and Orpheus went to the Andes (these myths are echoes of Slavic-Vedic songs). The End of the World is narrated in the song about Dazhbog's victory over Kashchei, as well as in the description of the End of the World from Svarogov's scroll (a story about the punishments that will come if people do not follow the laws of Svarog).
The Golden Egg, which contains the death of Kashchei and the death of the World, is also known to the Indian Vedic tradition. According to the Mahaeharata, it contains fire that awakens during the End of the World.
The legend of the Flood is reconstructed from the tales of Kashchei (the plot is “the death of Kashchei in an egg”), and from versions of the epic about the Kama Massacre. The song from the “Book of Kolyada” about Marena’s descent into Peklo (after she was cut down by Dazhbog) is recreated based on the spiritual verse “The Walking of the Virgin Mary.” A description of the corruption of people before the End of the World is in the South Slavic song “The Saints Divide the World”, as well as in the Mahabharata (Book III Forest, Chapter 187, Conversation of Markandeya).
This text literally coincides with the Bible (see the book of Micah, chapter 7, 2-6), as well as the “Gospel of Matthew” (chapter 10, 21, 34-36). All correspondences to our era (mixing of classes, “last will be first,” denunciation of relatives, worship of relics, etc.) should be understood as a warning. Compare, for example, the book of the biblical prophet Micah and the conversations of Markandeya (as if one person speaks);
“(At the end of Kali Yuga, before the End of the World) the truth will be rejected in the world by scientists and respected people. When Truth is killed, their life will be shortened. Because of the brevity of life, people will not achieve direct knowledge. Deprived of knowledge, maddened by greed, anger, and lust, people will indulge. They will kill. Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishas will mix... The Shudras will become equal. There will be no castes or differences. The first will become the middle, the middle will become the last. At the end of the Yuga, wives will become hostile to their husbands... There will be no whispering of mantras (prayers). The father will devour the son, and the son the father. They will eat forbidden food. Brahmins, condemning the Vedas, will not fulfill their vows. Chatterboxes will be supported and will not face censure. The world will become bleak and cruel, the festivities will cease. Kshatriyas, motivated by greed and pride, will not defend the earth, but will only become famous for their punishments at the end of the Yuga... People who imagine themselves to be scientists are destroying the Truth in the world. Old people will think childishly, children will have the mind of decrepit old men. The coward will imagine himself to be a hero, the heroes will turn into cowards... The Shudras will proclaim the law, and the Brahmins will listen to them. The relics will be venerated, but the gods will be rejected... Soon foreign peoples will desecrate and shake the earth. Thus, all paths in the world will be corrupted... The existence of all beings will cease at the end of the Yuga. The cardinal directions will ignite, all the constellations will burn. The stars will be blinded and unfavorable. Stars will rain down abundantly, causing great terror. Birds of prey, born from eggs, animals will call ominously. Even friends and relatives will then be abandoned by people. The distraught will seek shelter when the end of the Yuga comes. They will gather in crowds, wandering, at the end of the Yuga. (Then a new Yuga will come). Obeying the timing, the twice-born named Kalki - Glory to Vishnu will appear as a mighty, brave fighter, wise, he will be from the village of Shambhala.
And according to Slavic legends, the appearance of Kalki, aka the god Kolyada, has already happened (and he will appear again). He came as the son of Dazhbog and Maya and gave the Slavs the Star Book.
