Dad's note

Dad's note
Enlight

Father, as usual, came home from work
And sat down decorously at his desk,
As usual, he opened the top drawer of the table,
Then he plunged headlong into his work.

“I’ll go to dad,” the son said to his mother,
“He’s probably bored, since he’s alone again.”
“Don’t interfere. He’s busy there now.”
But the son didn’t listen, he quietly opened the door,

He quietly stood next to his father.
Bending over a book, he was writing something.
“What’s in this book?” - “You’re unlikely to understand.”
- “But, dad, I’ll try.” - “Well then.

Here are important meetings, people’s names,
Here is everything I do during the day.”
The boy stared at his dad, lovingly:
“Tell me, am I registered with you?”
