“You dare me to do this now, and quickly,” he shouted to the miller with the arrogance that is so inherent in all charlatans who try to force others to work for themselves.
“I don’t have time to bother with you,” answered the miller.
“If you don’t obey, I’ll curse your mill,” the swindler threatened.
“Well, I’ll be happy to see how you do it,” answered the miller, who was a true Sufi. “If you knew how to achieve your desires in this way, you wouldn’t have to stand in front of me now and try to force me to grind your grain.”
