Junaid looked back because he thought that someone else had entered with him. But there was no one.
The master laughed and said:
- Don't look back, but look inside!
Junaid closed his eyes and realized that the Master was right. He left his wife, but his mind yearned for her. He left his children, but their images were with him. And the friends who came to say goodbye to him for the last time, they were still with him, in his mind.
Master said:
- Go out and come alone, because how can I talk to this crowd?
And Junayd had to wait outside the temple to be freed from this crowd. A year later the Master called him:
- Now, Junaid, you are ready to enter. Now you are alone, and dialogue is possible.
