Crooked duck

Once upon a time there lived a grandfather and a woman. They went into the forest to pick mushrooms and found a duck. And that duck was crooked. They took her and brought her home.

The next day they got up and went looking for mushrooms again, and they made a leaky nest out of feathers for her. They left, and the duck turned into a girl, washed the hut, brought water and baked pies.

Grandfather and woman came and asked: -? Who tidied everything up from us? And the neighbors said to them: -? There was a crooked girl here who carried water.

So the grandfather and woman left the next day and hid in the closet. The duck turned into a girl and went to fetch water. And the grandfather and woman jumped out and her feathers and threw them into the oven. The feathers were all burned out.

Then a girl came and cried. I started asking my grandfather and woman for a golden spinning wheel. She sat down on the porch and spun a tow. A flock of swan geese is flying here. She says: “My dear geese, give me a feather.”

And they say: -? Others are flying, they will give.

Again a flock of swan geese is flying.—?My dear geese, give me a feather.—?Others are flying, they will give them.

A lonely goose is flying here, and he threw feathers to her. She became a duck again and flew away. Grandfather and grandmother cried, but did not cry anything.
