Chicken, duck and mouse
Enlight

Once upon a time there lived a chicken, a duck and a mouse. They were walking outside the yard. One day the chicken found some grains of wheat. She was happy about this and said to her companions:

- I found grains, I found grains!.. The grains need to be ground into flour! Who by

carries them to the mill?

“Not me,” said the duck.

“Not me,” said the mouse.

The chicken alone carried the grain to the mill and ground flour.

-Who will take the flour home? - asked the chicken.

“Not me,” said the duck.

“Not me,” said the mouse. The chicken carried the flour home alone.

-Who will knead the flour into dough? - asked the chicken.

“Not me,” said the duck.

“Not me,” said the mouse. The chicken kneaded the dough itself.

- Who will flood and heat the tanur stove? - asked the chicken.

“Not me,” said the duck.

“Not me,” said the mouse.

The chicken lit and heated the tanur stove.

-Who will stick the cakes to the hearth? - asked the chicken.

“Not me,” said the duck.

“Not me,” said the mouse.

The chicken herself stuck the cakes to the hearth. Golden brown cakes were baked. The chicken put hot flatbreads on the dastarkhon and asked:

-Who will eat the cakes?

“I am,” said the duck.

“I am,” said the mouse.

- No! - exclaimed the chicken. “You didn’t work and won’t eat the cakes!”
