The old woman came out, sat down on the roof of her dugout and began to sew. Suddenly he sees the fox Chachuchanavut scratching under the dugout. Then the old woman said:

- Come here, sister. I have a lot of lard. Get yourself a piece of bacon.

The fox ran up. The old woman contrived, grabbed her, killed her, dragged her into the house, skinned her, chopped her up and began to cook the fox meat. She boiled the brew and removed it from the heat. She came out again, sat on the roof, and began to sew.

The boy lies in the dugout and shouts to his mother:

- Come on, quickly, mom, let’s eat!

The old woman said:

- Wait. After. Take your time. You'll be eating soon. Eat your fill. And now we’re not even hungry yet. After a while, the boy shouted again:

- Come on, mom, let's eat!

- Wait. After. Take your time. You'll be eating soon. Eat your fill. And we're not hungry yet.

After a while, the boy said again:

- Well, let's eat quickly, mom! There's no way the fox has become whole again!

- Wait. After. Take your time. You'll be eating soon. Eat your fill. Still not hungry.

Then my mother came in and wanted to hand out food. I looked into the cauldron - there was nothing, empty, only the meat broth remained. Then she said to the boy:

- Where is the meat that was here? The boy said:

- The fox has gathered. They told you a long time ago: come on, let’s eat quickly, but you said; don't rush to eat. Well, again the pieces of fox meat came together into a whole, the fox dressed in its own skin and ran away.
