One Saturday, before going home, the pastor decided to call his wife. It was almost 10 pm, but my wife didn’t answer the phone. The pastor waited for a long time, but his wife never answered the phone. After a while, he dialed his home number again, and his wife answered immediately. The pastor asked why his wife did not answer the phone for so long when he called the first time, but she replied that there had never been a call before.
This incident would have been forgotten if the phone rang in the pastor's office on Monday at church. The man who called talked about some call from this number on Saturday evening. For a long time the pastor could not understand what was going on. Then the man said:
- The phone rang and rang, but I didn’t answer...
The pastor, remembering the incident that had happened to him, apologized for disturbing the man, explaining that he wanted to call home, but apparently dialed the wrong number. Then the caller said:
- Let me tell you what happened then. You see, on Saturday night I decided to commit suicide. And before doing what I planned, I turned to God, saying that if he exists, if he hears me and if he doesn’t want me to do this, then let him give me a sign. And just at that moment my phone rang. I approached the device and saw the inscription on the display: “Lord Almighty...” (Almighty God). I looked at the ringing phone and did not dare to pick up the receiver.
The church where the pastor served was called the Almighty God Tabernacle.
