One day a man came to the Prophet Suleiman and asked:

- Teach me to understand the language of animals and birds.

“Okay,” the prophet promised. - Just look, if you reveal this secret to anyone, you will die overnight!

The prophet Suleiman taught man the language of animals and birds, and the man went home. At night he hears a bull, a donkey and a rooster talking in the barn.

- Tell me, well done, how was your day? - the donkey asks the bull.

- It's been a tough day. Just like they harnessed the cart in the morning, I carried the luggage all day,” the bull answers.

- Do you want me to teach you a trick? You will immediately get rid of all this work and hassle.

- Of course, teach me! - the bull was happy.

“The owner will give you food for the night, but you don’t eat, and that’s all.” You'll see in the morning, they won't send you to work. “That’s my advice,” says the donkey.

“Okay,” the bull decided.

And he didn’t eat anything, didn’t touch the food.

In the morning the man says:

- The bull hasn’t eaten anything, apparently he’s not healthy, harness the donkey instead of the bull.

The donkey worked all day. In the evening he returned to the barn, and the bull asked:

- Tell me, well done, how was your day? It seems like you haven't worked at all?

“At first it was very hard for me, they spent the whole morning carrying luggage around. And then I felt better. People began to decide when to cut you, so I took a little rest.

- How to cut? - the bull roared.

“I don’t know,” answered the donkey. “They kept repeating among themselves: “Since the bull doesn’t eat, we need to cut it before it dies.”

- What should I do now? How to escape? - the bull cried.

“Eat more,” the donkey answers, “there is no other way out.”

The bull leaned towards the feed and, well, swallowed it! He's in a hurry! “We should,” he thinks, “eat more, let the owner see.”

And the man heard everything. He understood what the bull and the donkey were talking about and laughed.

- Why are you laughing? - the wife was surprised.

“Yes,” the owner hesitated.

He remembered what the prophet Suleiman told him: if you reveal a secret to someone, you will die overnight!

- No, tell me what you’re laughing at! If you don’t tell me, I’ll leave the house, and that’s all,” the wife became stubborn.

The man understood, the wife will not lag behind. Apparently, he will have to tell him the secret of the prophet Suleiman, tell him that he is now endowed with the ability to understand the language of animals and birds. Yes, apparently, his death has come.

“Okay,” he says. “Just wait, I’ll make a will, and then I’ll explain everything to you.”

The man began to write a will. The bull and the donkey saw this and stopped eating and drinking out of grief. Only the rooster jumps and sings carefree.

“Our owner will soon die, and you are having fun,” the bull and donkey reproached the rooster.

- Why is he going to die soon? - the rooster was surprised.

- Because I had a quarrel with my wife.

- Just think! I have twenty chickens under my command, and I can cope with them. But the owner cannot cope with one woman.

The man heard these words and became angry with his wife - why is she so curious! - and decided: there was no need for him to die at all! And keep quiet!
