One pure man wanted to see the Buddha, keeping his attention on a wide variety of objects. His hands did not grasp wise images, and his eyes did not pierce the objects of veneration - the phenomenon did not come.
Finally, bowing in prayer, the seeker felt a thread of cobwebs descending onto his forehead. He threw it away, and a clear voice was heard: “Why do you drive away My hand? My ray followed you, let me hug you.”
Then the solar serpent trembled in man, and he found the discarded thread. And in his hands she turned into forty pearls, and each one bore the Face of Buddha. In the middle there was a Stone, and on it was the inscription: “Courage, despair, joy.” The follower of Buddha received joy because he knew the path to it.
