People used to fight and kill each other. The dead were dragged to one place1. Brother and sister lived. The brother still does not tell his sister to go to the place where the killed people lie. Among those killed, one was wounded; he turned into a heretic2. The wounds began to heal, only foam came out. The sister nevertheless went to that place. He sees that among the dead there is only one alive, foam is coming from the wounds. He called his sister and asked her to bring something for her wounds.
That girl's brother had animals - a hare, a fox, a turnip3, a horse. The girl came home and said she was sick. The brother went to his animals and asked for milk. He brought milk and gives it to his sister. She quietly took it to the heretic, lubricated the wounds, and he became healthy. The heretic wants to take her as his wife, but first they decided to kill her brother. The heretic taught her:
- Start playing at home with your brother. Weave a rope from your hair, tie his arms and legs tightly.
My sister did just that. When she tied her brother tightly and ran to the heretic, he guessed everything. The sister came with the heretic, they want to play a wedding, and the brother says:
- Let me play the pipe for you.
He began to play. His animals - a hare, a fox, a turnip, a horse - heard:
- Our brother is being killed.
They came to the plague. The horse began to scratch the door. The heretic approached, opened the door - the horse hit him with its hoof. The heretic fell dead, only one tooth fell out. The brother tied his sister to a tree and said:
- While I’m walking around the world, fill seven barrels with tears.
He went to another kingdom and stopped to live with an old woman.
The servants of that king4 learned that the man had come to live. The king gave his daughter in marriage to him.
The brother sent a man to his sister to find out if she had filled the seven barrels with tears. The man ordered his sister not to be lowered to the ground. He listened and released her. She found the heretic’s tooth and grabbed it. They brought my sister to my brother, she says:
- Let me make you a bed.
She herself placed the heretic's tooth in the bed. The tooth passed through his brother’s body and he died.
When he was buried, his sister ordered a stone to be brought on seven horses and placed on top. The hare found out about everything and collected the animals. The horse hit with its hoof and knocked over a stone. They dug up my brother and began to pull out the tooth. The turnip dragged but could not pull it out, the fox dragged it but did not pull it out, the horse dragged it but could not pull it out. The hare pulled, the tooth hit her, the hare died.
The brother got up and said only: “I’ve been sleeping for so long.”
He went home with his animals. My sister was scared.
He ordered her to be seized and tied to seven horses. Those horses tore it apart.
