Boatman!

Boatman!
Enlight

The owner invited a craftsman to paint the boat. While working, the boatman noticed a hole in the bottom, fixed it, finished painting, received the money and left. And the next day the owner of the boat rushed to him.

“Here’s money for the repairs,” he said and handed over a wallet with gold.

- For what? - the master was surprised, - I got it in full!

“Yes,” the owner confirmed. “But that was money for painting the boat, and this I pay for repairs.”

- For such a trifle? - the boatman was amazed. - It took me a little time. I never thought of asking for money for such a small thing...

“This little thing, as you call it,” answered the owner of the boat, “saved the lives of my children.” I forgot about the hole, paid you and went on business. Meanwhile, the children took the boat and sailed out to sea. I was in despair, I thought they were dead! And when the children returned safely, it turned out that we owe their salvation to you...
