And the sages answered: “It is said that Adam cultivated the land for the first time.” But to cultivate the land you need tools! This means that blacksmithing was established earlier, since the blacksmith makes tools for himself, and for the carpenter, and for the farmer. Therefore, the first in honor is the blacksmith, and the farmer needs both.
And they convinced the carpenter and the farmer not to envy.
