The kids were sliding down the slide. A bear passed by and took the children into a bag. He shouldered the bag and carried it into the forest, into his vezha. He walks and sees the trail of an unknown beast. The bear put the bag on the snow and said to the guys: “Don’t go, I’ll be back soon!” And he followed the trail.
One boy had a knife. The boy cut a hole in the bag, and all the children climbed out, except one girl. The girl decided to stay in the bag so she could answer the bear when he asked if the children were there.
To the bag. It didn’t seem empty and light to the bear, the children put large stones in it and filled it with snow, and put a girl on top of it in a sack. The guys tied the bag and ran home along the bear trail.
In the dark the bear returned for the bag. I asked if all the guys were here, and the girl answered:
- Everything is in the bag.
The bear picked up the bag again and brought it to him.
He brought it home and shouted to his old woman:
- Fuel the boiler! Let's cook the meat!
And he climbed onto the bowl and began to shake everything out of the bag into the cauldron from above, through the smoke hole.
The girl was the first to fall out of the bag, fell into a cauldron of water and jumped to her feet, and then stones fell and made a hole. All the water from the boiler flowed into the hole and flooded the fire in the fireplace.
The old woman shouted at the old bear:
- I deceived you, old man! Tomorrow, take this girl back where you got her from!
In the morning the bear took the girl to her parents.
He brought him to his father and mother and began to ask them for forgiveness.
The parents were delighted at the return of their daughter, but they did not forgive the bear, but threw a rope noose around his neck and dragged him to hang him on a birch tree.
The bear began to cry and was so frightened that he immediately died from bear disease, and his tears became like peas.
