Mam was very angry with him for all his sins and ordered him to be brought to him. When the hunter was brought in, he had to answer; why did he wound so many animals, why didn’t he burn incense to Mom, dig and pray.
As punishment, Mam forced him to live with him and take care of sick animals. This man learned a lot while he was with Mom.
Mom taught him to work on the milpa, because at first the man did not know how. Mam taught him to pray and burn copal to have a good harvest. But the man was already tired of life with Mama and wanted to return back to earth, to his family.
Mam tried to persuade him to stay, but the man wanted to go home so much that Mam agreed to let him go. Mam gave the man with him the seeds of the plants that he wanted to sow - beans, maize, cassava and others.
When this man came to earth, he remembered what Mam had taught him, and therefore his milpa was always abundant. Whenever he went hunting, he always got a lot of game and he knew well how to pray and burn incense.
