Dragons occupy a very important place in Chinese mythology. The emperor himself was respectfully called “the dragon”; Images of dragons often decorated the walls of Chinese temples. The spirit of Ten-kin-gon, the great commander of the early 14th century, was embodied in the Azure Dragon. During his lifetime, Ten-kin-gon defeated powerful supernatural opponents. But while fighting with Ne-ja, he broke his left arm, was captured and executed. The title "Azure Dragon" was given to him many years later.
Currently, the azure dragon personifies power, wisdom and kindness, protects the house and everyone living in it and expels evil spirits from it. Living inside the house, the Dragon will bring money into it. There must be a pearl in his teeth or in one of his paws - a symbol of spiritual and material wealth. This magical pearl is a symbol of the inseparability of matter and spirit. If the Dragon does not have a pearl, he becomes angry and does not bring good luck.
