Ant and grasshopper

by
Ant and grasshopper
Enlight

The ant ate grains of wheat in the winter, which it collected in the summer. One day a grasshopper approached him and asked for something to eat.

The ant asked the grasshopper:

- Where were you in the summer? Why didn't you prepare food for the winter?

“I had no time for that,” answered the grasshopper, “after all, I sang my songs all summer.”

Hearing this, the ant laughed and hid the wheat grains in the pantry.

He answered the grasshopper:

- You sang all summer, so dance all winter.

This fable applies to all frivolous people who get carried away by trifles and are not concerned with business. Such people always lack the most necessary things.
