There lived two sisters, they lived in a small camp. Their tent is located to the side of the parking lot. They are always together - they sleep together, chop wood together. How long they lived, you never know. The elder sister said to Aisa:
— I’ll go into the forest now. The berries are probably already ripe. Go to bed, cover yourself tightly with the blanket. If you hear someone rustling, don’t make the slightest sound.
Aisa immediately lay down. She lay there for some time and heard some rustling outside. Aisa lies quietly. Someone opens the door. He walked in quietly and sat down by the fireplace. Aisa was overcome with curiosity. She quietly lifted the end of the blanket. He looks from under the blanket: scary, scary. This is some elderly woman sitting. She doesn't look human. Aisa thought: “This is Whirlwind’s sister.” Aisa shuddered and slowly covered herself tightly with the blanket. “This one,” he thinks to himself, “will eat me now.” And Whirlwind’s sister guessed that the woman was not sleeping. He says to her:
- Get up, I won't eat you.
Aisa curled up into a ball again. Whirlwind's sister rushed at her, pulled off the end of the blanket, and looked at her.
“You,” she says, “are very beautiful.” You will be my brother's wife, I will not eat you.
Aisa said:
- I don’t want, I don’t want. You are cannibals.
Rather, she covered herself with a blanket. Whirlwind's sister, without thinking twice, rushed at her, began to tickle her, tickled her. Aisa fainted.
Some time passed, she woke up and looked around her. She sees that she has found herself in some new place. The plague is so huge, the hearth is long. Behind the fireplace in front sits a man, Whirlwind’s brother, he looks handsome. The woman who tickled me is sitting behind me. Meat is being fried in the hearth. Fat drips from the muzzle. Whirlwind's brother chews raw meat, blood dripping from his mouth. Aisa's whole body shrank. Whirlwind's brother tells her:
- You will now be my wife.
- I will never become your wife, you are cannibals!
“I will bring the meat of all kinds of earth birds for your share.”
You never know, how much time has passed, this brother of the Whirlwind hit the ground, hit the ground with his wings, like a bird. He flew out of the smoke hole and flew up into the clouds. Where he sat, the skin of a snake appeared, similar to the skin of a shiny beast. Whirlwind's brother said to Aisa:
- Well, now we'll go to bed.
Aisa sleeps at night and has a dream: her older sister says to her:
- Don’t marry brother Whirlwind. You will give birth to cannibals, and there are plenty of them on earth even without yours. Here's how to do it, sister: take the skin of Whirlwind's sister, burn it, then he won't be able to fly for a long time, and when he lands, he'll die from a broken heart.
Aisa woke up and looked - the snake skin was lying there. Whirlwind's sister guessed that the girl was up to something bad. Rather, she grabbed her brother’s skin and quickly pushed it into her bosom. Aisa thought and thought: “What should I do with her?” A little time passed, I realized: “She tickled me!” She rushed towards her, caught her from behind, squeezed her with her legs, and began to tickle her. She tickled and tickled - Whirlwind's sister fainted. Aisa threw her on her back and looked - she apparently died. She pulled out a snake skin from her bosom and caught her breath. Then she made a big fire, threw the skin into the fire, and put wood on top.
At this time, Whirlwind’s brother flies above behind the clouds. Beyond some heavenly region he is looking for the meat of various earth birds. Feels: something bad is happening on earth. Approached the ground. From the ground people look: “Oh, oh, what rain clouds are landing.” A little time passed, he became a winged bird, his wings rattled and made noise, as if ice was cracking. Soon feathers fell from his wings. Craters formed on the mountains where the feathers fell. Where the feathers fell, lakes formed.
As soon as he landed, his heart broke and he died. People guessed that the cannibal had died. Aisa said:
- Now I will go to my homeland.
She came to her land and told her sister:
“I burned the cannibal’s skin.”
Aisa married one of her own and gave birth to children. I told this fairy tale to my children. And you, future ones, tell your children. Let this fairy tale pass on from generation to generation. Now let the Russians have it written down.
