In ancient times, a young woman was sick and lay in her hut, and next to her, on the carosse, lay her child. The rain bull came out of the pond where his home was to eat. He smelled the scent of a young woman and desired her. He trotted forward and approached the hut, shrouding it in fog.
And the young woman also smelled the rain, its fresh breath. She felt him approach the hut where she was lying, so he walked around the hut and stopped in front of the entrance, hiding and crouching to the ground.
But she saw his ears and exclaimed:
- Who's here?!
The young woman grabbed a bushu bush and threw it at the bull's forehead. Then she stood up and pushed him away without touching him, so that there was a bushu between her hand and the forehead of the rain bull. Then the young woman carefully took the child, wrapped him in kaross and put him aside for her husband to pick him up later. She thought that she would never return here again, she had to die and turn into a frog. The rain bull will take her to his watery home.
She climbed onto the rain bull, and he carried her to the pond. And she sat on his back and looked around, looking for a suitable tree.
Seeing the ghuerriten-ghuerriten tree, she said to the rain bull:
- Go to that big tree and sit me there, since I am sick.
And the rain bull started trotting and brought her straight to this tree.
And she said:
- Stand under the tree, right next to the trunk.
And then the young woman took out a bushu, rubbed it on the neck of the rain bull, and the rain immediately fell asleep.
Seeing that the rain bull was sleeping, she climbed onto the ghuerriten-ghuerriten tree and then, holding onto the branches, climbed down from the tree and began to stealthily make her way to the house.
She had already reached the house when the rain bull woke up, feeling that it had become cool. He jumped up and walked away, thinking that the woman was still sitting on his back. He came to a pond and entered the water.
And the woman took the bush, burned it and began to rub herself with the ash, since it was “green” and smelled of ktshu mushroom. And so she rubbed herself to fight off the smell of rain.
Old women who were collecting roots came and began to burn the horn so that the rain would smell the smell and not be angry with them. If this young woman had not behaved so wisely, then all people would have died, they would have turned into frogs.
