There lived in one village a doctor named Pau-tu.
Once they called him to see a sick person. The doctor came, examined the patient and prescribed medicine:
“Here,” he says, “one part of bitter and ten parts of honey - take it carefully, and you will certainly get better.”
The patient was afraid that the medicine was bitter and refused to drink it. Then the doctor decided to set an example:
“This is how it should be, this is how it should be,” he said and quietly drank a whole bottle.
Soon the doctor felt bad - everything inside was burning. He rose from his chair with difficulty and went home. The patient followed him. Imagine the patient’s surprise when, in the very puddle where the buffaloes were escaping from the heat, he saw a doctor.
The doctor, seeing the patient, began to poke his finger in his chest, saying:
- Now there will be two dead people.
