Soon the man died. Having buried his father, as was customary, the young man began to eat honey every day and put on smart shoes every morning. When his wife gave birth, he took her to her parents. To carry out all these advice, it was necessary to spend all the wealth accumulated by his father, and the young man became poor. He had no food or drink. The residents of Aul stopped inviting him to their place and treating him, and if he himself visited someone, he was not even offered to sit down.

“Why should I live after everything that happened. I’d better go and fulfill my father’s last wish,” the guy decided.
He went to the stable, saw a chain with a hook hanging from the ceiling and tied it around his neck. When he kicked away the stand he was standing on, the weight of his body broke the chain where it was attached to the ceiling. The gold that his father had placed there fell out with a roar from the resulting crack.
Soon the young man built a new house and started farming. He opened a large store and began purchasing wheat, sunflowers and much more. He soon became richer than his father. “Without a woman, the house is empty, I need to get married. I don't need to take another woman other than my ex-wife. I’ll go ask her to come back to me,” he decided.
He came to his ex-wife and said that he wanted to take her with him.
“You have not fulfilled any of your father’s behests, I don’t want to return to you,” said the wife.
“Please don’t start talking about this,” her husband told her. - Because of this, all the misfortunes happened to me!
“You did not understand your father’s commandments,” the woman said then, “and therefore you neglected them.” Your father bequeathed to you to eat honey every time. This meant: “Don’t eat until you’re hungry; if you get hungry, everything will seem sweet to you, like honey.” Your father said, “Wear new shoes every morning.” This means that you had to clean your shoes every night, so that in the morning they would seem new to you. Your father told you: “Divorce from your wife when she gets pregnant.” This means: “Do not go to the women’s quarters until the wife gives birth, and do not take her home to her relatives, as you did.” The fourth covenant was given to you because your father was not very sure that you would immediately understand his covenants.
He brought his wife to his home, and they lived richly and happily.
One day a horseman bought two pounds of wheat, ordered it to be poured out separately in the barn, and then held a feast. To this feast he invited the owner of the house and his guests, who did not believe his story that the eagle had carried away a piece of lung. He also called the honorary elders of the village. When everyone had eaten and drunk, the young man said that during the day an eagle had carried away a two-pound weight from him. Those present did not speak up! no doubt about the veracity of his story. Then he recalled that previously they did not believe him when he said that the eagle carried away the meat, and they kicked him out of the house, because then he was very poor, but now they pretend that they believed his obvious invention. He accused those present of insincerity and dishonesty and sent them home. So the young man took revenge on his offenders and began to live according to the behests of his father.
