In ancient times, there lived one man, and he had a cat, which he considered so smart, so extraordinary that he called her nothing less than Heavenly.
One day a guest came to the cat’s owner, heard this nickname, was surprised and asked:
- Why, my dear, do you call an ordinary cat Heavenly?
“This cat is not at all ordinary,” the owner answers. “The world has never seen such amazing cats.” Therefore, only such a name suits her - namely, Heavenly, because in the world there is nothing more powerful than Heaven.
“But don’t you know,” says the guest, “that clouds can cover the sky?”
– You are probably right. Let me call my cat Cloud.
“But the wind drives the clouds wherever it pleases,” says the guest.
“Well,” the owner answers, “you’re right!” Let my cat be called Wind.
– Have you forgotten, it’s clear that the path of the wind can be blocked by the wall of the fortress?
“Then I’ll probably call the cat Fortress.”
– But the fortress walls cannot resist mice?..
- Then let my cat be called Mouse.
- But it doesn’t cost a cat anything to catch this Mouse?
“Then let my cat be called Cat,” said the owner.
The guest laughed and clapped his hands.
- So it turned out, as our proverb says: “a cat is always a cat!”
