Praise and glory to God! Whether it happened or not, once upon a time there lived a blade of grass, a lump of earth and a flea. One day they went traveling. The white-bearded blade of grass carried a long cigarette holder in her hand, the respected lump of earth could barely move from the weight of its weight, and the lady flea carried her load on her back.
Whether they walked for a long time or not, they had to cross narrow gorges and fast rivers. They ate rotten frogs. But I will not bore you with my story, I will only say that after all the difficulties and vicissitudes, the noble travelers reached a small beautiful lake located in a fertile and flowering valley.
They really liked the place, and they decided to sit in the shade of a tree to rest and refresh themselves.
They rested, got up and walked back - as the proverb says: “Everywhere is good, but at home it’s better.”
Before they had even gone a quarter of the way, the sky turned black, the wind blew and carried away the blade of grass. The rain poured down and soaked the clod of earth. And the flea began to laugh. And she laughed so hard that something broke inside her.
Thus their journey ended ingloriously.
Three red apples fell from the sky: one for the storyteller, another for the listeners, and the third for lovers of fairy tales. Amen.
